We also went to Gallipoli for ANZAC Day and to the National Religious Broadcaster's Convention in Texas. It felt good to get out of the studio chair and stretch my legs. The fact that the Rainbow special, set in a town (population 500) of which few people had ever heard, was so well-received, and it was by far the most- complimented program of the year confirms our belief that we need to keep stretching.The aim of Enough Rope is to provoke reaction, to make us think (that applies to those who make the program as well as those who view it). It's meant to do the opposite of what television generally does, which is pacify.It's difficult to select which interviews make it into the final lineup of the book.
