This traditional cordial, stolen from Nanna’s recipe book, (along with her devilish chocolate cake) is made from fresh orange and lemon juice. Mixed with soda or mineral water and topped with a sprig of mint, its our choice in hot weather after some gardening or a game of tennis. Try using the syrup to make a great citrus sorbet, add some zing by mixing it through a fruit salad, or heat it up and pour over poppy seed cake – yum! You may notice the fruit pulp collects in the bottle neck - see we really do use fresh juice - just give the bottle a good shake before you pour it to distribute this yummy pulp through the cordial. (Its better than adding nasty emulsifiers!)
