Ideal for people with little or no previous experience, the Beginners Abseiling Course is the perfect introduction to the thrilling world of roped adventures. Our highly qualified and experienced instructors will safely guide you through a series of adrenalin pumping abseils from a 2 metre high nursery slope to a breathtaking 30 metres. Do as many jumps as your enthusiasm and fitness allows.We utilise the Blue Mountains' best venue at Katoomba in the spectacular Blue Mountains region. With awesome views across to Katoomba Falls, Echo Point and the world famous Three Sisters, there is no better place to abseil.On the course you will learn about cliff line safety, the proper abseil technique, correct use of the figure of 8 descender, pre abseil checks, standard calls as well as braking and belaying techniques.
