Winter white water rafting takes place on the Murray River, in the beautiful Dwellingup region. The course consists of around 30 rapids, ranging from grade two to grade four, dropping 90m over 8km for hours of white water rafting fun Your day begins with a wake-up continental breakfast and a complimentary transfer from Welshpool to the river, which is approximately 60 minutes drive from Perth. When you get to the river you ll meet your guides, familiarise yourself with the equipment, and change into wetsuits. Then you ll move onto the launch spot. Your shark diving experience will begin with a 1 hour shark awareness brief about the origins of sharks, their reproduction and identification followed by a short video presentation. Then it s time for suiting up in the supplied wetsuits and diving gear. The 30 min Oceanarium tank dive will allow you to get up close to 4 different species of sharks, including 7 adult grey nurse sharks (one is the largest in captivity in Australia), 4 different species of rays, 2 species of turtles and a vast array of marine life.
