The team will meet in Punta Arenas on the southern tip of Chile. From here we utilise an Ilyushin 76 aircraft to gain access to a blue ice runway on the Antarctic continent, a flight of around four hours. This landing site is known as Patriot Hills, is situated at 80 degrees south, and is the Antarctic base for our expedition. After final preparations are completed the group is shuttled from Patriot Hills to the edge of the Antarctic Continent by ski equipped Twin Otter aircraft. We begin the ropes course by facilitating some team challenges at ground level - about 15-30 minutes. This eases your team into the course and adds value by letting them discover areas of concern and comfort. Moving onto low ropes, the team discovers the skills and management they'll need in order to accomplish objectives. The high ropes elements are up in the trees, so the perceived risk is high but the actual risk is low. Participants walk across cable bridges, negotiate giant ladders, or ride zip lines through the trees as they overcome personal fears and develop new self- confidence.
