Best to try the next iteration of Dyson handhelds
This version of the Dyson handheld vacuums is powerful and has considerable suction making it capable at cleaning up small messes quite effectively.

Expensive Disappointing
I am so disappointed with my Dyson, it's the first one that I have owned and to be honest I thought it would have been so much better.
On a full charge the battery lasts 4-6 minutes, so if the vacuuming you have to do is quite small, then it's ok. The unit itself is also very heavy...
