This is an example of The wine of kings, the king of wines. Made predominantly from Furmit grapes with 3 'puttonyos' (balls of concentrated semi-dried sweet grapes) added. This makes a very concentrated, botrytis- affected wine aged in small wooden barrels.

If you want to have your cake and eat it, this is the ideal wine to drink with it. Recioto is a sweet wine made from dried grapes - in this case, they use garganega. Here's a fun fact for you; Recioto is derived from the Italian word 'recie' which means 'ears'. This is because garganega forms to small clusters of grapes at the top of the bunch that get extra-ripe and resemble mouse ears. It's these 'mouse ears' they use to make the wine. Aromas of dried stone fruits and citrus peel adorn the nose, with a twist of toffee and coffee, whilst the palate is sweet and luscious with some frisky acidity cleaning up the rich, long finish.

Their tasting notes: Made from fruit harvested late in March 2010, from Block 5 of our estate. The resulting wine is pale gold in colour, with aromas of lemon and lime, and a hint of apricot jam and golden syrup. On the palate, rich flavours of citrus blossom, candied citrus peel and honeysuckle abound. The wine finishes with a delicate balance of late harvest characters, sweetness and citrus acidity.So, what is botrytis? Rekorderlig Wild Berries Cider has the nose of fresh, juicy wild country berries with the subtle undertones of the Pear base combine wondrously in this semi-sweet cider to produce a slightly drier finish on the palate. This wine has a complex bouquet of ripe fruit with some rancio character and a full middle palate with a clean dry finish and lingering fruit flavours.

The Witches Falls Solera began in 2004 with the processing of Muscat fruitfrom 80 year old vines from the Granite Belt. Older oak matured wine hasbeen blended with young wine achieving a Muscat with rancio characteristics while retaining the primary fruit flavours.

While it's been described as the ultimate breakfast wine, Moscato is also fantastic as an aperitif or dessert wine. Intense floral, rose water, lychee and green apple aromas combine to deliver a compelling nose. Pink in colour, the nose is dominated by floral aromas. This is the artist formerly known as Tokay, which Australia was forced to change in the last few years because of antiquated laws in Europe that declared that we no longer had the naming rights. This resulted in the rather bizarre name of Topaque. Whatever you want to call it, we think it’s just plain delicious with its rich nose of toffee, honey, candied nuts, honey and citrus. The palate is complex and long with rancio and toffee characters combining to create a luscious, warming after dinner style.

Barrel aged for 10 to 15 years to develop a rich a lusious flavour, it brings a spice caramel, plum and bursts with delightful aromas. A complex wine enjoyed chilled.

After being saved from fortified oblivion, Seppeltsfield have re-emerged as a vital and important player in the Australia fortified market. This is the quintessential aperitif. Bone dry with great finesse, tangy and nutty, with a crisp, dry, lingering finish.

Nice yellow color. Very intense nose of highest purity with hints of honey, dryed apricot, quince and lavender. On the palate, the wine is ample, rich, wide and not heavy at all thanks to its nice freshness.Its syrupy character makes this wine ideal for consuming with foie gras. It can also be set with strong cheeses or non-chocolate desserts. In our opinion, it merits also savouring without accompaniment, just for its own sake. This offering from Allegrini is a bright and breezy red blend of 65% corvina, 30% Rondinella and 5% molinara. It's a medium-bodied style of wine that shows lots of red and black cherries on the nose and palate, all supported by bright acidity, chalky, evident tannins, and a fruity, vibrant finish. It would be great with a nice lamb ragu.

This vintage port will have you thinking of Christmas when you stick your nose in the glass. Imagine Christmas pudding, mince pies and chestnuts roasting on an open fire, and that’s what this wine is. The palate is sweet and warming with flavours of dried spicy fruits and some fine tannins drying up the finish. Have a glass with coffee and a mince pie.

Here is a sweet dessert style wine with a bold personality. There's lots of concentrated honeysuckle and peachy smells on the nose, whilst the palate is lush with a mid-level of sweetness, beautifully balanced with lemony acidity, some flinty minerality, and a powerful, rich finish that will have you licking your lips for a few minutes afterwards. It would be the bomb with mature Brie cheese, or a fruit trifle.

Blend from Shiraz and Touriga wines, this classic tawny has an elegant nutty flavour with a dry spirit finish.

Even though this is a 2002 vintage, the fruit comes from 60-year old vines. It's full-bodied, fleshy and fine with lots of lush black fruits, hints of spice and a savoury, rich finish. It's knockout value, and would be great with a chunk of aged cheddar.

A Rutherglen classic. This Muscat displays luscious yet elegant raisin fruit, with richness and complexity from maturation in fine oak. Very rich and long finish.

This is a sweet dessert style wine from the Telmo Rodriguez stable, and it makes for an interesting alternative to the usual suspects. It's a highly aromatic wine with smells of roses, peaches and dried herbs on the nose. The palate is fresh and bright, and not at all syrupy, with a mid-level of sweetness, lovely honeyed and grapy flavours, and a sumptuous, juicy finish. Drink over the next 3-4 years with fruit-based desserts, or even a nice, soft Brie cheese.

The Pfeiffer Rutherglen Topaque is a fine example of this foundation style. It has aromas of honey and apricots and a silky, luscious palate.

Medium gold amber in colour, the nose bursts with orange peel, mint, cinnamon and figs. The palate is sweet and rich with cinnamon, apple and a grapefruit aftertaste. The sugar is balanced with deftly handled acidity leading to a clean finish.

Tokaji Aszu wines are made from hand - picked botrytised grapes, which have attained maximum concentration. It is an explosion of engaging and intense aromas which enhance both the palate and the nose.

Wonderfully complex flavours of toffee and honey, the palate is rich and viscous. This is a superb partner for rich desserts, cheese platters and fresh fruit.
