As the name suggests this is a brand new project for the Taylors winemakers, a new dessert wine produced from Riesling grapes that have botrytised, that is they've been infected with a particular rot that dries up the grapes and intensifies the flavours (even though don't look all that pretty).The wine made from these grapes is then concentrated, rich and powerful, a lovely classic dessert wine full of marmalade richness and endless sweetness.

Alkoomi have been putting the great in the Great Southern region since the early 70s and make some astonishingly good wines from the Frankland River sub region. This sweet style is an absolute must to finish a meal with either a chocolate mousse or cheese platter. Its sweet aromatics are in the tropical spectrum with the generous mouthfeel offering up, a great balance between sweet fruitness and acids.

This is made with the ubiquitous Chenin grape to create a wine of sweet concentration that’s honeyed and full of citrus before a cleansing acid finish. This offering from Allegrini is a bright and breezy red blend of 65% corvina, 30% Rondinella and 5% molinara. It's a medium-bodied style of wine that shows lots of red and black cherries on the nose and palate, all supported by bright acidity, chalky, evident tannins, and a fruity, vibrant finish. It would be great with a nice lamb ragu.

This is a French dessert wine style that traces it’s origins back two millennia. It’s grown on the steep rocky vineyards of Beaumes and the way it’s made is unique, as the sun reflects off the imposing limestone edifice known as the Dentilles de Frontignan. The wine is made with the Muscat grape and delivers a late picked style that is unique and delicious. It’s lifted with sweet fruit and flowers but it’s tremendously balanced between fruit sweetness and acids. Great length on the finish ensures it works well with desserts of fruit or chocolate.
