A dumbed down version of what used to be a good productivity suite.

Pros: Increased Excel spreadsheet size, pdf export, help files mariginally better.
Cons: The Ribbon, different file formats, Word HTML format
The Bottom Line: Office 2007 is a failed attempt by Microsoft to convice consumers to "upgrade" when, in fact, the product has been dumbed down.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Any previous version of Office is superior to this. If you are buying a new computer, don't "upgrade" your version of Office. Keep the old version instead. Or, if you have never had a version of Office, buy a used copy of Office XP, Office 2003,...

Pros: Powerful, Affordable, Very Useful
Cons: Associated with Vista, A little different than 2003 (we hate change!)
The Bottom Line: Office 2007 is very useful and powerful once you figure out how to handle it and get past the fact that it is visually different than 2003.

Pros: More user friendly, faster to load, automation of common features, better organized, and beautiful interface.
Cons: You have to learn to use the new interface but it is worth it.
The Bottom Line: Great product. User interface is much more organized and lets you have everything you need at first glance. You do not have to dig around for hidden features.
