SONY offers Christmas Shopping Parents a cheaper PLAYSTATION 3

The Bottom Line:

SONY's recession antidote offers parents PS3 at an easier to swallow $300 which also makes it a great BLU RAY player deal.
Unfortunately, it can't play legacy games.

The Bottom Line: Love or hate it, the PS3 brings a price drop and a system redesign. If you aren't affected by the lack of backwards compatibility, then seriously consider buying a PS3.
