i love this game

The Bottom Line: i strongly recommend that you buy this game i was very satisfied and i think that you will be too
if u want to spend the money on a good game then diablo 2 is what you should get. diablo has several different character classes that you can choose from. i prefer the necromancer because he raises the dead to fight for him thus making my job alot easier. the other character classes are...the barbarian, he is a melee style fighter and has many passive abilities that are helpful... the amazon, she is ranged attack person and she uses a bow or javelins she is very versitile...the sorceress is a magic based character and is very fun to play with but she dies fairly easily...the paladin is a good character until he gets to about level 35 because his auras are weak. the beginning of the game is the most fun, i think, you should get the hang of it within about the first 45 minutes if not seek professional help. there are four acts in the game and each act contains six different quests. there are also three difficulty settings that must be unlocked by beating the previous difficulty. the game will take you from the amazon highlands to the depths of hell and all over again. it took me about 2-3 months to totally complete the game and it is still fun to play for long after that.
BATTLE.NET is annoying but quite fun when it is working properly you can work cooperatively or you can duel each other for gold and the other persons ear. the lag is horrible but if you have a good modem(cable,dsl)it shouldn't be a problem.
overall this game is totally awesome
