Best Electric Shaver On The Market

The Bottom Line: Highly Reccomended!Somewhat pricey & louder than it should be;still worth it! The market needs a Rotary Shaver of this calibre,which at present does not exist.
Like most Americans I shaved with a Rotary Norelco (several
different models)since 1977!
Lately I've decided to try the so-called "foil shavers"
namely:Braun & Panasonic.The reason being,is that over
the past decade the Rotary Shavers that available on the market,were underpowered and left way too much stuble
especially under the chin and neck area.
I decided on the Braun 9595CC over various Panasonic Models
since Braun has been in the shaving business way before
Panasonic got its feet wet!
The Braun 9595CC (also known as the "Pulsonic") gives the
smoothest and most comfortable shave even in hard-to-reach
areas.
You can shave with the pivot locked (good for hard to reach areas)or unlocked.
The trimmer is very well designed & does the job well.
The Braun Pulsonic comes with a L-Ion (Lithium type) battery, unlike other rechargeable shavers which come with Ni-Cad batteries.The L-Ion battery keeps a charge for
a much longer period and dosen't suffer from the infamous
"memory" issue that Ni-Cads do when prematurely recharged.
Charging time is 60 minutes for about 50 minutes of shaving.
If you are a high-tech junkie like myself you will love this shaver for its tech-toys!
On the bottom of the shaver handle,there are 2 LCD Meters.
One gives you the battery strength,the second gives you
the "hygiene" level.
This shaver comes with Braun's "Clean & Renew" Cleaning
System which is superb!This is the best & the most high-tech shaver cleaning system I've seen.
You pop in a cleaning cartridge into the machine,
you just put the shaver face down into the machine and it does the rest!It is totally automated!
The Clean & Renew Machine is extremley well designed.The
cleaner will determine what type of cleaning cycle you need;from light to intensive.There is also a cartridge
fluid level indicator,so you know ahead of time when to replace it.
Unlike other manufactures,this machine HEAT DRYS your razor
as well.(it also lubricates it during the cleaning process).
When the cycle is done,the "blue clean light" comes on.
The cycle runs on the average about 35 minutes depending
on the intensity of the cleaning needed.
The cartridge(cleaning solution) will last for about 1 month if you clean your shaver every day.
Its worth noting,that if you have always used a Rotary Razor,it may take up to 3-4 weeks of continuous use for your skin to get used to this new method of shaving.
It would be nice to see a Rotary Razor of this calibre
on the market.
