Great Mom Camera for the Price

The Bottom Line: Recommend this great camera for all novice photographers who want great quality photos without complicated equipment.
The Canon PowerShot SD 1100 IS has been the perfect camera for me - the mom who wants to capture every moment but has zero photography knowledge. It is a simple camera to operate with tons of great features. It only weighs 0.28 pounds and at 3.4in. x 0.9 in. x 2.2 in. so it conveniently fits into all purses, diaper bags and sports bags. It is a simple "point & shoot" camera that takes amazing quality photos. It has 13 scene modes that are easy to identify and use for perfect photos without really thinking. The image stabilization feature has been invaluable. The LDC screen is 2.5 inches with a resolution of 230,000 pixels. The camera comes standard with a lithium ion battery pack, a battery charger, a SD Memory Card SDC-32M, wrist strap, CD rom, USB interface and an AV cable. We also purchased a second battery and a larger memory card to avoid missing any mommy moments.
