Quality for Price!!

Canon A430 is more than beginner level Digital camera at very affordable price. I bought it for Rs:9900 ($165), at this price other good Digital camera manufacturers sells their cameras with less manual options and features, like mega pixels and optical zoom. Its very good looking and produces excellent outdoor results. In Indoors however 10% of the pics comes out either very dark or over bright due to spot flash light.
Another thing that i love about A430 is its battery. It use two pencil cells, unlike Kodak and Minolta it dont use its own rechargeable battery, which means you dont have to fully depend on the camera's battery. You can have 4 to 6 backup AA size batteries. I solved my battery problem with Energizer battery charger. It lasts for 250 Images approx, which is more than enough for me.
Super Macro feature is anther good advantage. A $200 Kodak cam dont have this option. It takes very very magnified images of micro objects like tiny red ant with good detail. like other good Digi cams it have Macro option available with is good for still subjects.
Another great thing of A430 is its scene modes. it have 6 different shooting modes for different shooting purpose, like moving pets and children, still foliage etc.
Builtin Microphone and speaker is another plus for A430. Other camera manufacturers at this price dont offer it. micro phone lacks quality though but its good to have low quality sound instead of no sound.
I miss aperture control and shutter control in A430 but at this price i cannot expect it.
