Halo has good multiplayer, but bad single player

It seems to me that everybody loves Halo, there are tons of halo fan boys and I just don’t see why everybody loves this game because it is really boring and repetitive. It just is really boring in the one player mode to do pretty much the same thing over and over again. You have to kill this herd of aliens then the next heard that look identical to the first. You just have to repeat, repeat, repeat and it just isn’t fun this game is just way to boring and repetitive for my taste.

This is an alien FPS, and I love first person shooter games they are my favorite type. But Halo just isn’t fun. This is the one player option that I am talking about though. The multiplayer is great, but I talk about that later. The story is boring and the cut scenes are very boring and it just isn’t appealing to kill all of these aliens that don’t look good. There is all kinds of stuff you have to do like operate vehicles, and the driving is actually pretty fun. But that is pretty much the only good thing about the one player option. The graphics look great but that doesn’t stop the game from being very boring.

The multiplayer is great me, and my friends have so much fun playing multiplayer. Usually we do death matches, but the co-op is okay it makes the game a lot less boring while playing co-op but it still isn’t that fun. The death matches are great though you and 3 others get to use all kinds of vehicles and you will get to use all kinds of cool weapons like the sniper rifle and alien guns, rocket launchers, and other types of weapons. It’s really cool to snipe someone while they are operating a vehicle or you can run someone over. This game brings great joy to killing each other we can play for sometimes as long as two hours and it takes a while to get bored of. If you are looking to buy a game just for multiplayer then I highly recommend Halo. But if you are looking for good one player try another FPS like Doom 3 or Far Cry instincts. There are also plenty of Maps to choose from.

The graphics are excellent in this game to the character you are looks great, and the aliens don’t look too good to me, but everyone else seems to think they look good. I think they look a bit cheesy though. The vehicles look great, and there is a wonderful level design. The sky looks great and so does the grass and everything surrounding you like tree’s and waterfalls the levels look great but I have seen better. If you are just looking for good graphics then I highly recommend Halo, but there are few out there that only care about good graphics. You also won’t notice a single glitch or bug.

The controls are great too, and all of my friends who play multiplayer with me really seemed to catch on quick it shouldn’t take longer than five minutes to get used to. If you play a lot of FPS games on the Xbox then it should take no time at all, because these are your basic FPS controls. You know its like R to shoot and L to throw a grenade.

The sound is good too, there isn’t really a soundtrack but the explosions and gunfire sound great. The aliens sound good when they are dieing too. You can totally understand the people when they are talking during the cut scenes too, you won’t have to put on subtitles or anything like that the sound is flawless.

I guess you could say this game does have high value if you are looking for good multiplayer but if you are looking for a good one player option then find another game. This game can be found on the twenty dollar wrack at Wal-Mart If you are looking to buy it.
