The hope of mankind

The Bottom Line: Overall, Halo is an awesome gaming experience that should not be missed. Play it and you'll see what I mean.
Halo is a great action packed shooter. Halo is different in many ways from other popular shooters like "The World is Not Enough", "Perfect Dark", "Goldeneye 007" and others. Unlike these games, the combat will have you getting up close and personal with the aliens of the Covenant. With that kind of action, I hope you know a good cleaner who knows how to get out alien guts! Also, this game has an assortment of vehicles to drive, ranging from the human-made Warthog jeep with room for a rear gunner and an armed passenger to the alien-made Banshee aircraft with plasma guns. Many people say that this game is short with only about 10 levels, but they are long levels. Weapons range from a standard, bullet pumping assault rifle to a rocket launcher. In addition, you are able to pick up plasma weapons (such as pistols and rifles) off of dead aliens. In the music department, Halo ranks an above average with good backround music. For control, it ranks a little below average because it is a bit confusing and will take time to get used to. In graphics, however, Halo gets a fantastic with realistic environments and good enemy, weapon, and vehicle detail.
