Author's Review

I been in the process of trying to find some decent sounding headphones for portable use out of my Ipod. I wanted something cheap, since they will be used outdoors. I ended up with a pair of Koss Ksc-75 and a pair of JVC Marshmallows (separate review coming soon)

Equipment used to test
- Ipod Nano (1st gen) 4Gb
- Go-Vibe 5 Headphone Amp (no longer in production)
- custom Ipod dock to line out
- custom mini to mini (copper wiring) (to go to dedicated headphone amp)

Also test straight out of my Ipod Nano headphone jack

Specifications:
- Frequency Response 15-25,000 Hz
- Impedance 60 ohms
- Sensitivity 101 dB
- Titanium Drivers
- Oxygen-free copper voice coil
- gold plated 3.5mm (1/8") mini plug
- No-Questions-Asked Lifetime Warranty
- 4 Foot cord
- Open design, lets sounds in and lets sounds out

Comfort:
Your either going to love or hate the comfort of these headphones. They feature a bendable clip that goes behind your ear, allot like what you find on eye glasses/sunglasses. I find them quit comfortable, even extended wearing. You just have to make sure to bend the clip to fit your ear.

Sound:
These headphones have a clear and balanced sound. They are very similar in sound to Grado's house sound, but not quit as bright. The KSC-75 has excellent bass response as well. The KSC-75 has sounded excellent with every genre of music I have thrown at them. The only genre I really don't have is classical so I can not advise how these can's will handle classical.
