Great for Soft-core Shutterbugs

The Bottom Line: If your on the market for something nice but don't need professional quality, this camera is perfect.
My Grandmother is a Real Estate agent and often asks me to help her with a variety of different things; web page design, advertising, and taking pictures of properties. I had a generic $20 digi-cam that I would use, but the quality was poor and photoshop can only do so much. After trying to take a picture of my Grandmother to update her website with and being disgusted with the results, she bought me this camera.
The agreement was I could keep the camera as long as I continued to provide her with the images she needed to maintain her business. I happily agreed. The look of the camera is nice, not too fancy and not so heavy that your arm hurts after one 10 minute photo session. It's small enough to shove in a pocket or purse but heavy enough to feel like a heavy duty, professional camera.
I tinkered around with it for a while and quickly learned the ins and outs of it without reading the instructions. I quickly filled the memory as it only holds a few pictures at a time, around 18 if memory serves me right. I liked that it had built in coloring and lighting features. You can choose many options such as black and white photos, sepia tint, Night time lighting, etc.
Now the difficult part... Even after reading the instructions and downloading the software, I still have a difficult time uploading the photos. I'm no computer genius by any means, but would like to think I'm quite above average. The last time I tried to upload photos, I had to tinker around with the software for about 30 minutes.
The Camera runs off batteries, which it goes through really fast. I bought one of those 100 packs of AA batteries at Costco due to this camera. I knew I was going to need them. The pictures are a good quality and for my purposes, I think it was a wise purchase.
I would recommend this camera for people who don't use it all the time, I use mine about once a week and take the batteries out when I'm not using it. I still have problems with the software though.
