Renergie Eye Creme works miracles!
Date of Review: May 15, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you can afford it and want to minimize some wrinkling, this is a great product.
I am very picky about the products I use on my face. I am only 35, but I believe wrinkle prevention starts early. I only have a few fine lines, but I am a moisturizing fanatic. I've been using Lancome's Renergie products for 5 years now and couldn't be happier.
Lancome Renergie Eye Creme comes in a small plastic jar. It has a faint generic moisturizer smell. A little of this stuff goes a long way. I use it sparingly all around the eye area, including the lid. It is firming and reduced the fine lines around my eyes.
Renergie Eye Creme is generally pretty expensive, around $50 for a 0.5 ounce jar. I usually buy several of the $75 gift sets around the holidays that include a small eye creme, a regular jar of Renergie day creme and a small jar of Renergie night creme, plus a free gift usually.
Read on for the miracle part. I had run out of my Renergie Eye Creme and tried another cheaper brand that had been recommended by the media. That eye creme damaged the skin under my eye, giving it the look and texture of crepe paper. After using the "other" creme, the skin under my eyes looked like the skin of a 90 year old woman (I'm 35). I stopped using the offending creme, but the damage did not disappear. Nothing I used was restoring my skin back to normal, so after several months I broke down and bought a full price jar of Renergie Eye Creme. Within a week the skin under my eyes was back to normal. I consider that a miracle.
