Fantastic Speakers!

The Bottom Line: A must buy if you are concerned with portability. Great Sound!
I am simply wild about these speakers!
I own a Sony Vaio TX750 P/B - nice laptop, but like most does not deliver incredible sound. They are not supposed to. But if you want to enhance your system with the best portable speakers out there, look no further.
These two speakers are plug and play, simple as that. No plugs, no AC adapter, no batteries - powered by the USB port!
First, you open the box and wonder how these little speakers (2" x 6.5") can do it? They come with their own carrying case, each speaker has their own sleeve, and the two wires (one to connect each speaker and one to go to an available USB) are folded and velcroed in place. Nice storage and can easily fit into your laptop bag or briefcase.
First, plug in the wires that connect the speakers together, which also double as the speaker stands. Then, plug the second wire into the main speaker and a USB port.
Viola!!! You are up and running!
The green light on the side of the main speaker (right hand side) shows that you are connected. Right below the light, are the volume buttons. Set that to the volume you want and the PC volume controls will do the rest.
Not the most powerful speakers our there, by far, but these bad boys deliver a rich, colorful sound that will fill your immediate area and instantly let you know that your purchase, was a good one!
The only issue I have with these, is that when you plug them in, you need to raise the volume to the maximum level to work properly. If I made these, there would not be volume controls on the speakers - volume would be controlled solely by the volume controls on the PC.
Small price to pay, but you will be happy with these. Once you start to play music or a video, you will see what I am talking about. BIG sound in a little package.
