Logitech Z-2300 2 Speakers

I bought this speaker refurbished first at factorydirect. When I first listened to the speakers,they're pretty disappointing,they sounded hollow.But when I plug the speaker into another computer speaker subwoofer,it sounded FANTASTIC!!!!!I exchanged this speaker and I got a good one.Wow,the bass is very thumping,which I like.If you put rap on at even moderate volume,the room will shake!Definitely big big bass.Although the bass will not keep up with the satellites(obviously,every computer speaker is like that,couldn't blame that)If you have the bass knob to maximum,unplug the satellites(if you don't you'll experience pain in your ear),put rap music on and turn the volume to 6/10th,you will notice the (first you'll notice the mouse is dropped)the bass now is at the maximum and it won't be any louder(if you turn it louder,the bass will just be distorted.Many times my neighbor banged on my door and yelled TURN IT F---ING DOWN!!!!(I live in an apartment)Now the bass is accurately and detail reviewed,we'll talk about the sound.First of all,unless if you have very high end floorstanding speakers or headphones,these speaker will sound better than anything you've heard(except theaters)I haven't heard a single home theater in a box that sounded better than this speaker(I've tested >$1500 systems)(except the bass).The sound is so detailed that you'll hear a lot of detail that you've never heard before in any music.If you'll looking for a speaker,buy this!it's well worth the $100(I got it for 80)

By the way,there are some negative review about this product,as I explained,they probably have a refurbished system.So keep that in mind.I am a serious audiophile. Everything I've written here is all true,to the best of my ability to convey the sound quality.

P.S. There is something strange to this subwoofer.I tried to see how loud can this subwoofer can get in 20hz,when I turned the volume over half(bass knob at max)it creates a very loud bang,I think the woofer is hitting the magnet?Over excursion?I don't know.If you know why this happens,please contact me at chengbinzheng@gmail.com
