Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro (60 GB) Console

I purchased a new Xbox 360 in January 2008 and up until now it has been a fantastic console. So what happened? The red ring of death happened. We saw it Friday night and again on Saturday (having thought we fixed it Friday night). Apparently 49% of Xbox consoles get it and they're not sure why. Thankfully Xbox 360 offers a warranty that lasts up to three years from the date of purchase specially for this problem and free postage to send the Xbox to the repairer.

Overall, I would say the Xbox 360 is a fantastic product - it has good graphics, great games, online profiles and works well for watching DVDs at home. However I would consider purchasing extra warranties and or insurance for this product to ensure you don't get screwed over by the red ring of death.
