What's Different?

Date of Review:  Jun 17, 2004
The Bottom Line: Finally, this is the suite of programs that the original Microsoft Office should have been.
Review: I am not even going to attempt to get into all that has changed about Office 2003 over Office 2000 or Office XP, but what I'd like to do first is refer you to the other epinions on this product if you want the technical stuff because frankly, I...

Office 2003 Pro - Do You Need it on Your Desktop?

Date of Review:  Mar 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you need more stability and functionality, this is a good (though expensive) choice.
Review: I am not a computer expert, but I am an expert when it comes to the different versions of Office. I have used Office versions nearly everyday since Office 95. I have been impressed (and sometimes let down) by the steps that Microsoft have taken...

Slightly better than Office XP

Date of Review:  Jul 11, 2007
The Bottom Line: Stay on your old version as long as it works
Review: I've been using office since 1997 and have installed quite a few of these as a systems admin.

First of all I have to say that I haven't seen much change in Office since Office 2000 to 2003 - the application has remained virtually the same...

Do you need it?

Date of Review:  Nov 30, 2003
Review: I got a free copy from attending the Microsoft 2003 roll-out. I am a computer science major and got a copy. I really see no need to upgrade if you have office XP. Visio, word, excel, access, and project see virtually untouched except for some...

Microsoft Office 2003; The Premiere Office Suite Keeps Getting Sweeter

Date of Review:  Feb 19, 2004
The Bottom Line: There are no new trails blazed here, but there is subtle, delightful refinement of the product that only enhances the Office document creation experience.
Review: I have used every release of the Microsoft Office, Microsoft ever growing and complex office automation suite, since the release of version 4.0. With the release of Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft has traveled ever further down the road to true...

Microsoft Office 2003 an Overview

Date of Review:  Sep 17, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is a high quality but expensive product. Before buying this product check out the cheaper alternatives, like Works Suite and Open Office. Not worth an upgrade for most people.
Review: This review is also available at the Scarsdale AV Club's Rampage Tech Site (http://tech.scarsdaleschools.com/modules.php?name=Reviewsnukesyles&rop=showcontent&id=23). I have reviews of other tech products I have not reviewed on Epinions reviewed...

Review: Great software suite. Superb word processing and spreadsheet features. Great integration. Easy to use. I use this software everyday. Create a Word document, insert a spreadsheet, publish as a web page. It's great.

Why not Office 2007 or Office 2525?

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2006
Review: I mostly use Word, Excel, and Access either singly or through VBA, together.

Several applications I put together with prior versions of the Microsoft Office family didn't work anymore once we upgraded to 2003 because of version...
