Yes, you read the title correctly! This is what you here during one of the BGMs of this game.
You are the Prince of all Cosmos and your goal in this game is to answer the many requests of your all loving fans who admire your chins and mustaches dearly. You follow the commands of your "full of himself," father to roll up many katamaris to fill up space cause Katamari Damacy was not enough. And the King and the fans will let you know to. But don't worry, this time your cousins are along for the ride, ranging from a cousin who looks like a mushroom, who look like and upside down cone and then some. But with your mustache and your chin, who needs them?
Gameplay: The game play is very similar to the original Katamari. You pretty much roll your Katamari (your sticky ball) onto smaller items and they stick to it. The more items you pick up, the bigger you katamari is, and the bigger items you can pick up! However, a few thigns were added to this addition of Katamari. For example, the request of a sumo takes you into the city to gather food onto your Katamari (or in this case, sumo wrestler) so your sumo gets fat enough to beat another sumo wrestler. Another request sends you into the woods to collect flammable stuff to start a fire. I especially love the campers that chase you with a giant marshmallow to cook it on your fire. There is nothing better then racing a katamari down a race track going against a person on an elephant, a person on a rocket, and so forth. Priceless...
Multiplayer: Multiplayer in this is a nice touch. You get both co-op and vs. In vs, it iss simply make a better katamari then your opponent. The co-op is what makes this shine. Though very difficult at first, it takes some getting used to. Then you are rolling up katamaris with your friend. Did I mention that you roll only one katamari by doing this together? It's quite different! ^^
Graphics: It's blocky, it gritty, and bad. I love it! From blocky people to lego looking bears, you can't help but love the charm that spews out of your TV screen. That's all I can really say...
Music/Sound: The sound is awesome from grabbing chickens and hearing them cluck, to humans and hearing them scream. You can feel the fear that they feel and not give a care because you're having too much fun. Then there is the music. The music is so charming and cute that you catch yourself humming the music or trying to sing the Japanese lyrics not getting them right at all! And yet you still love it. Nothing better then hearing a remix of all the music from the old game bunched together and being sung by animals. Once again... Priceless... Rough... rough rough rough rough rough rough... rough rough rough rough rough.
Replay: The game is simple to beat. But to master, it's so hard that you keep coming back no matter just to master each level and make the people who make requests happy. And if you beat the game fast enough, the King scolds you for it! You can't help but continue playing this game to try and get the best score! Once you beat it, there is still so much to do. Like getting all the presents and unlocking all the cousins.
Update: It has come to my knowledge that not every person has played the first game, Katamari Damacy. Thank you whoever told me.
