The legend continues...but did it live up to its expectations?

The Bottom Line: The game is fast, fun, losts of content to unlock and adventures to discover.
As a player whose been playing this series since Soul Blade I must say the Soul series is my most favorite 3D fighting game ever. When SCII was release there was a major buzz going around about this game and it was an amazing improvement to its previous installments. Now with the release of SCIII everyones expectations was really high. I waited a long time for SCIII and stayed on top of any news they had about the game.
There was alot of new things included in the game with the addtion of Create-a-character mode, Chronicles of the Sword, more new characters and many other modes that players all over would enjoy. There's ALOT of content to unlock and strategy's to come up with.
Personally I think the game was good but it could have been better. I could have done ALOT better without the Chronicles of the Sword in the game. I'd rather have played that in a seperate game. Somewhat like Legends but not as cheasy and with more effort put into it like the Soul Calibur series.
The character creation was fun at first because I'd always wanted this in the soul series so thats a definate improvement. I just hope for the next installment they try to make the characters seem real like an already established character in the series.
Overall the game is good but if you're a hardcore fan then you may be a little disappointed.
