Ok deal.

The Bottom Line: Buy it if you do not like the PSP or any other console.
The ds lite is a good deal. It does not bring anything special to the table but still interesting in its own way. It does not have many games and all of them are "modified" to promote the touch screen. When it does that, it loses a bit of the fun. One part of it that is pretty cool is the wi-fi. It gives you a way to interact with people around the world instead of just playing with your next door neighbor. The speakers are really scratchy during wi-fi. (I tried to talk with some random person over wi-fi and could not understand anything he said except for hi!.
On the good side, it is really simple and makes a great present for anyone that can read. It is better than the old normal ds because of the reposition of the buttons. Its small size is very convienent to carry around with you and the batteries last quiet a while. The lit backscreen is very helpful (hey i had a gameboy advance previously) when your in the dark. The touchscreen is VERY interactive, and with the mic, you really feel "inside the game" esp with Call of duty 4.
