The Bottom Line: Definitely get one, two or more if you can. All these improvements for the same price as its predecessor and nearly half the price of Sony's PSP.
Review: Originally I had purchased the original DS because I wanted a handheld gaming unit that could play Metroid Prime Hunters and didn't cost $250 (Sony PSP). I bought it, even though I saw the DS Lite being advertised on the horizon. I couldn't wait...

Review: i have owned both the DS and the DS lite. i sold the ds as it was too bulky and didn't look very good. the ds lite i was bought for a present and i love it! it is so much sleeker than the original and the improved screen and battery life top it off!...

The Bottom Line: The DS offers many great titles. The touch screen innovates gameplay.The wi-fi takes it up a notch allowing you to play with other DS owners.

The graphics the DS delivers are decent, but nothing that will blow your mind away. Some of the 2-D games are well done on this system, like Castlevania, Yoshi's Touch and Go, Advance Wars Duel Strike, Sonic Rush and etc.

Nintendo DS Lite - Practically Perfection

The Bottom Line: I can't see a reason why not to get one unless you just don't like the games.
