Nintendo Wii Console

We bought a Wii as a christmas present for our 8 year old. He wanted an X Box, but I don't like the more violent and competitive nature of those games, so pressed the wife to get him a Wii instead. best thing we could have done. We have a lot of fun based family games, as opposed to watching Mr 8 sit glued to the latest Gamer's game. I've never been a fan of video games, would much prefer to see him shoot some hoops or kick a ball, but the Wii is as close as I can come to endorsing video games. Great product - well done Nintendo.
