Pros: - low-reflectance screen has almost zero glare from incident light. - Great picture

Cons: - Needs another HDMI input - No 1080p

No one should buy a TV (particularly a > $1500 TV) without seeing themselves and comparing it to other sets.

But this Sony should definitely be on your short list if you're in the market for a 40 inch flat screen.

If you buy this TV, definitely invest in an HDMI cable and a good DVD player that does upscaling.
