Excellent LCD TV

This LCD has a beautiful H-D picture. The S-D picture is marginal. Great for watching football in H-D. Speakers are fine, but HDTV needs surround sound for full enjoyment. Only one HDMI connection but this is no problem if you have an AV receiver hooked up. DVD's on progressive scan are great. The only problem I have with this TV is that you cannot use the zoom function to get rid of the pillar bars when watching HD source. I don't understand why Sony did this. I have a Sony LCD projection TV that allows the zoom function regardless of signal.

HD picture, Connectivity, Sound, Style and Sony Reliability.
Cons
Cannot use zoom function when signal is 720p/1080i.
