Not as great as expected, but still pretty darn good.

The Bottom Line: Great camera, maybe best in class.
I've used it for outdoor nature photography, and for regular parent/family type stuff, and for the outdoor stuff I'd give it an A, not an A just because of bulkiness, but the main point is the picture quality is superior, and the screen has less glare than my Fuji FinePix S700 and more vivid, as well. Otherwise, my main gripe is picture taking speed which is why we ditched Canon. It seems to me that the Memory Stick Duo is faster than others until it's more than half full, then it starts to slow like everyone else. Obviously that can be avoided by keeping you card clear, but what if you're traveling?
Another thing is that to delete pictures you have to be in review mode then press the menu button, then select if you want to delete just one or multiple, then the cursor is automatically set on exit instead of erase so you have to cursor up to delete then select, finally you're done. In other words, on most other brands you can quickly delete by pressing the same button repeatedly, on this one you have to do some serious thumb maneuvering which is a huge bummer if you're in a hurry.
I should be clear, though that in every other area this camera is awesome, and overall the best camera I've used, besides a professional SLR.
