The Bottom Line: eighty gig ipods are heavy...
The Blackberry Pearl can be a great phone for anyone. I have been using the phone for about four months now and I have grown to love it. I must admit that at first I thought it was way too small for me, but the longer I had the phone, the more I realized it was actually one of the best electronic devices I have ever used.
One of my favorite features on the phone is the text messaging. The keyboard is in QWERTY style layout, which is untraditional among mobile phone text messaging, with two letters to each numbered key as apposed to three. At first I thought this was going to be a huge problem for me but I ended up getting used to it faster than I thought. I also have the learning tutorial feature to thank for that. Anyway, once you get used to the keyboard, you will find that it is much easier to text message, and a lot faster, I know I did.
Another great feature the Blackberry has to offer is the built in multi-media player. This is actually my favorite feature on the phone because I love that I only need my small cellular phone to listen to music, watch videos, take pictures and of course communicate with the world. The thing that makes me most happy about this is that I don t have to carry around my giant eighty gig ipod to listen to the twenty or thirty songs that I want to hear at the time.
Overall I think the Blackberry was a good choice and is the best phone I have had yet.
