It really is a "Crack"berry!
Date of Review: Jul 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: This is a great and functional phone. It's reasonably priced for all that it can do.
I'm a total girly girl, so the minute they announced they were making a pink Blackberry Pearl, I was all over it - FINALLY something functional and fashionable! The guy at the store told me it would soon live up to it's second name - Crackberry, but I didn't believe him until 2 weeks later when I couldn't put it down. There's so much that this little phone can do. It's size can be a good or bad depending upon who you are. I like that it's not huge and bulky like most blackberrys and other smart phones. The keypad takes a little getting used to, as does the navigation ball. There are so many applications and features available on this phone. I added on the free mileage tracker and weather/traffic updates. It's great for business people, social workers, students, moms...there are applications for almost any user which is wonderful! There are some amazing applications that I can't wait to get as soon as I have a use for them (I'm a graduate student for now). The internet on here is fast and clear (unlike my old Palm Treo). Since this is basically a mini computer it's still susceptible to viruses and being overloaded. Make sure you buy the memory card to store data and protect your phone while on the internet/email.
