Tastes like a bad piece of steak

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2008
The Bottom Line: I can't say honestly to buy it download Linux or something more stable.
Review: At first Vista starts out tasting good a little bit of steak sauce, with some french fries, and ketchup and it's a pretty fair operating system. That's during the install afterward it's like a cheap date. Sure it fires up but it doesn't catch every...

I'm not sure why all the complaints.

Date of Review:  May 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: I would recommend upgrading to Vista because it has more security features.
Review: Although I have heard many complaints about Vista, I have had it for over 5 months now and have had no complaints beyond learning a new operating system. Granted, it is different with more security features to include prompts which were not seen on...

Frustration In A Box

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2008
The Bottom Line: Until Microsoft decides to untie our hands and put the user back in control, I would stick with an older version of Windows, fully updated.
Review: It seems as though as time marches on, many of our original freedoms, rights, and personal spheres of control get usurped and whittled away by an increasingly control and power hungry, intrusive establishment. In this respect, Microsoft's Windows...

Bowing to the inevitable

Date of Review:  May 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: In the not-so-long range, the only choice is between versions of Vista, so suck it in!
Review: I don't have much experience with Windows XP, so am not the person to discourse on how Vista differs from XP. I don't like either one. Both seem far more difficult to use than MAC operating systems. I realize that part of this is that I am familiar...

Hate it or love it Windows Vista

Date of Review:  Jun 22, 2008
The Bottom Line: This is a good basic operating system
Review: When it comes to O.S. you either hate Windows, hate Mac/linux, or you don't care/don't know. There are so many people out there who will go to the grave demanding that Windows Vista is the devil and worst O.S. every made. Then when you ask them why...
