Playing as a female chef, you have to prepare the food (slicing the vegetables, slicing the meat), then cook it on the stove. Use the stylus as their master kitchen tool to chop, slice, pan fry, knead, grate, mash, peel and more. With touchscreen play, you can do things such as shake the skillet for an omelet and dip tempura in the oil. Share recipes with up to 4 other people or transfer a saved game to a friend via the DS wireless link. Less

the graphics on this game are really poor - i wouldnt buy it again - actually i want my money back but that is not possibe - the quizz aspect of the game is good but the the overall look of the game could be improved

The cooking mama line has emphasis on the word "fun". It's basically just mindless slicing and dicing with your DS stylus, but it is surprisingly addictive and while it won't make you a better cook, it will certainly entertain you or your kids for hours at a time.
