More than just a lens, its a gateway to another world.

Pros: Typical "L" quality, focal length allows you a bit of distance from your subject.
Cons: Price, no Image Stabilization, no weather sealing gasket.
The Bottom Line: Macro photography will introduce you to a whole new word. Think of this lens as the doorway to that world.
