Cons: Not that I've discovered...

Pros: Separate inexpensive 940 color cartridges. Fast printing. Great color. Double-sided printing.
Cons: Slow initialization, with scary (but insignificant) blue-only page. Otherwise, a bit large.

I have used dozens of printers, including HP, Canan, Lexmark, Brother, and many more. This printer, for the price, is by far the best one I've used. SUPER fast color printing, and very sharp blacks and grays. Duplex printing is fun and easy, too!...

Pros: Prints fast once initialized
Cons: Very, very long initialization process
Separate Print Heads that wear out over time
Very noisy
Very large
The Bottom Line: I would not reccomend this printer to anyone unless they find this long initialization process acceptable and also understand that the print heads must be replaced eventually.

I am very unhappy with this HP Officejet Pro 8000 printer. The first one I bought was defective and HP sent me another one. At first I thought the second one was also defective, because it takes so long before the printer is ready to start printing...
