The Direct Drive System is a state of the art technology that integrates the motor, belt and pulley into a single quiet and durable brushless DC motor attached directly to the centre of the drum. A 20 minute cycle that uses steam to deodorize, refresh and reduce creases for up to 5 shirts. It uses no detergent and uses only 1 liter of water. Your clothes will come out fresh without having to run a full cycle. All LG front loaders have the basic function of being able to pause in between the wash cycle to add more clothes. Once the pause button is pressed, the door will unlock once the water settles down which may take up to approximately 60 seconds. Less
