The Motorola MAXX V6 is an updated version of the RAZR V3X. It's an ultra-slim and lightweight 3G handset featuring touch sensitive music keys on the front of the clamshell that light up when in use. It's also the big brother of the Motorola V3XX. In fact the RAZR MAXX is very similar to the V3XX. The only real differences are the appearance of the phones and the fact that the MAXX has a better camera. Both are slimline clamshells, but the MAXX has a more futuristic look, with its combination of metal and glass and the cool touch sensitive music keys. We'd like to point out that touch sensitive keys, while they look fantastic, can be annoying to use (the LG Chocolate and Samsung E900 have annoyed a fair number of users). However, when used sparingly, for non-critical functions like music, we don't think that they'll be a problem. And they do look fantastic with the blue lighting! Less

The next evolution of the Motorola RAZR phone, the MOTOKRZR K1 is the perfect fusion of technology and chic style. Elegant lines and smooth, seamless curves give the MOTOKRZR a luxurious, distinctive look. Not only is it a sight to behold, it’s also a technological knock-out. A 2.0 megapixel digital camera and video capture and playback complement all the standard functions we’ve come to expect from Motorola including Bluetooth wireless connectivity and Java 2 supported games and screen savers. Good phone, nice slim design... not the most user-friendly phone that I've ever owned.

by nickanddan , Feb 22, 2009
Pros: Slim design, smart looking. Never faulted, owned over 1 year.
Cons: Basic capabilities. Hard to change settings compared to other phones that I have had.
The Bottom Line: Good looker with average capabilities. You get what you pay for as its not overly expensive, but ilooks smart. Never faulted and I've owned it over a year.
Review: Smart looker, nice slim design.

Very average these days compared to others on the market. Not overly user-friendly.

You get what you pay for as its alot cheaper than the phones with all the tricks, and it looks nice :-)

GOOD from AFAR but FAR from GOOD!

by broorocky , Feb 26, 2009
Pros: -Small and slimline
-Mirror finish is attractive until it cracks off!!
Cons: -Shell cracks and chips off easily
-Major problems with its ear-speaker,
The Bottom Line: Average result.
Review: -When it first came out, I decided to fork out the $500 to get the K1, loving the small slim-line shape and the mirror-like finish. 2 years on and you can definately tell that this phone has not handled the punishment as well as previous phones...
